About Us

The Psycho-Creative Journal: Where Creativity, Emotion, and Human Growth Meet

The Psycho-Creative Journal is the primary academic home of the psycho-creative approach, a contemporary psychological framework developed by Dr. Pinkie Feinstein.
The journal is published bi-monthly, with Volume 1 released in October 2025 and Volume 2 in December 2025, marking the beginning of an ongoing series devoted to the emotional-creative dimensions of human life.

It serves as both a scholarly platform and a conceptual gateway into the broader Psycho-Creative World, offering original theoretical articles, foundational essays, practice-oriented models, and bridges between psycho-creative thought and traditional psychological perspectives.

A New Psychological Lens: The Psycho-Creative Approach

At the core of psycho-creative theory lies a simple but transformative understanding:
Human beings possess natural emotional-creative energy that must move, express, and transform to maintain psychological health.

When this inner movement flows freely, emotional well-being expands.
When it is blocked, by fear, excessive self-criticism, cultural inhibition, or emotional stagnation, symptoms emerge.

The psycho-creative approach therefore places creativity not at the periphery of psychology, but at its very center, as:

  • a basic emotional regulator
  • a bridge between intuition, emotion, and action
  • a source of personal meaning
  • a generator of psychological strength and spiritual alignment

Purpose of the Journal

The journal was created with three foundational aims:

1. Establishing an Academic Framework

The journal organizes the psycho-creative method into a coherent scholarly system:
the seven pillars, the 91 codes, the emotional-creative mechanisms, and the applied tools.

2. Bridging Psycho-Creative Ideas With Broader Psychology

Each article situates psycho-creative concepts within a wider academic and historical context, drawing connections to psychoanalysis, humanistic psychology, creativity theory, neuroscience, philosophy, and spirituality.

3. Opening Psycho-Creative Knowledge to the World

The journal is designed to be accessible to therapists, researchers, artists, coaches, students, and individuals engaged in personal development.

Bi-Monthly Publication Cycle

Beginning in 2025, the journal is published every two months, with each issue exploring a central psycho-creative theme:

Volume 1 (October 2025)

The Foundations of Psycho-Creativity.

Volume 2 (December 2025)

The Psychology of Natural Creativity.

Future volumes will continue to deepen and expand psycho-creative discourse, offering comparative studies, new theoretical developments, and clinical applications.

Invitation to External Contributors

While the journal is rooted in the writings and vision of Dr. Feinstein, it also serves as an open platform for thinkers, clinicians, researchers, and creators from around the world.

We warmly invite external authors to submit manuscripts that:

  • engage with psycho-creative concepts,
  • explore creativity in psychological or spiritual contexts,
  • offer clinical applications tied to emotion, intuition, or transformation,
  • bridge the psycho-creative approach with other theories,
  • propose new angles on creativity, emotional flow, or self-development.

The editorial team welcomes proposals from multiple disciplines, encouraging a rich and evolving conversation around creativity and emotional life.

A Journal With a Mission

Beyond scholarship, the journal carries a humanistic intention:

  • to restore creativity to its rightful place in human psychology
  • to provide new pathways for emotional healing grounded in love, movement, and intuition
  • to empower individuals to reconnect with their natural inner resources
  • to cultivate global dialogue on creativity as a psychological necessity
